European Day of Languages

 At the Council of Europe's initiative, the European Day of Languages has been celebrated every year since 2001 on 26th September-together with the European Commission.

The topic this year has been HEALTH. Students have created a Language Tree with the word Healthy in different European languages and have prepared some handicrafts on idioms, phrasal verbs and poems related to the topic.

Welcome to a new Academic Year: European Day of Languages 26th September

Our first activity of the bilingual programme was the celebration of the European Day of Languages. After Covid 19, our first year students have competed again in the Find the Language competition. This time the word in different European languages was Earth.Our Second Year students have worked on tongue twisters. Year 3 did a survey on the reasons for studying languages and Year 4 made posters in English and French with quotes about the environment. It is wonderful to get back to old traditions and celebrate languages and schools!!!
